I think in the end; In capoeira victory is relative =]
E ISSO AI MESTRE COBRA MANSA MEU IRMAO MEU AMIGO, VOCES DOIS SAO MEUS
AMIGOS QUEM OS ADMIRO E RESPEITO MUITO ‘NA VIDA SE CAI SE LEVA RASTEIRA E
QUEM NUNCA CAIU NAO E CAPOEIRA’ O JOGO FOI BONITO, UM DUELO DE DOIS GRANDES
CAPOEIRISTAS… SEU IRMAO MESTRE VAL BOA MORTE
I have the utmost respect for Bimba and I understand how important he is to
the lineage, but it’s like peoples perception of african religion is always
linked to voodooism, so if Bimba would have taught the religious aspects of
capeoira, white christians in Brazil would still be against it. Either
modify the art and take away from it’s true meaning, or modify nothing
about it and limit Capoeira only to the African Brazilians who preserve
it’s true form as a way of freedom not just excercise.
why do you think like that man?? Yea, maybe ego got involved a little
(Acordeon being a student of Bimba and Cobra Mansa being an angoleiro might
have to do with it), but their playing capoeira! at least their not killing
each other,, get what i’m saying? If you love capoeira you wouldn’t
critisize a mestre like that because all it does is reinforce negative
connotations on a beautiful artform created by African slaves.
ta FALANDO BESTERIRA SEU MARQUINHO QUEM QUER QUE VOCE SEJA… CAPOEIRA NAO
TEM BANDEIRA E NEM FRONTEIRA
I agree with kremecheez: Osakwe and Charley (born in 1977?) should learn
some respect… and maybe grow up. Love to see you and your rhythm beat
Mestre Accordeon. Come on children. What did regionale ever do to offend
you so deeply?/
wrong man, in the video Moraes will star to play with braga and then he was
take out by bira, it’s that sou SHOW… capoeira Angola, theater, mandinga,
also you can see Mestre Bobo, doing some theter with moraes…
what the fuck is that at second 00:30??? Lots of respects to the mestres,
but thats something enyone have to do. If you play with anyone, even more
if is of another organization, you must have respect and folow the capoeira
rules. What he is doing (M Acordeon) is bull shit.
I have a lot of respect for Mestre Acordeon and I don’t have any proud of
this rasteira .Was just a game please Peace M cobra mansa
@Rafaelfev capoeira angola e a melhor, sem duvida nenhuma, nao tem conversa
é o que acho e ponto, a opinião é minha e afirmo tdo q disse.
I have quite a few brothers in capoeira that are christians that are fully
aware of the religious influences and practice it still. In Bahia, there is
a different feeling than in the the states. I prefer the togetherness of
Bahia. Division sucks.
@IIGGMM14 lol and what are those capoeira rules? no hitting? by that time
capoeira was considered more a fight than whatever u think it is right now,
so the way those 2 mestres learned capoeira was as a fight, i dont see
nothing wrong with what mestre acordeon or cobra mansa did on the game,
both really good mestres mandingueiros
@marquinho69emeio nao fala besteira nao vei, capoeira é capoeira, seja
Bira went out like a little punk beeyotch. It would have been much more
dignified to just take that rasteria like a man, instead of that hissy fit
tantrum at the end! booooo!
Do you know why Mestre Bimba even created or promoted the style? It was to
keep our art alive amidst the ongoing influences of other styles coming to
Brazil from other countries. If he had not made the move, the face of
capoeira may not have ever been seen in the states let alone the whole
world! He was a pioneer, and even though the method is not always
appreciated, all capoeiras both angola and regional, should be grateful.
Your right. Maybe I was a bit off for saying that, but it seems like Angola
preserves more of the african traditions of Capoeira, and Regional is a
more modified version for those who want to practice Capoeira without it’s
once religouse practices and perspectives.
I didn’t appreciate Acordeon’s spirit… He seemed so negative to me.
Not always the case, my brotha. I’ve trained regional for about ten years
and I definitely feel a connection from my style. I’ve visited angola
groups and I can appreciate it all. It’s all of african origin. Bahia is
Africa in the Americas and the influence is felt from Fazenda Grande Do
Retiro to Memphis, TN where I live. Its a matter of perception. Muito Axe
and Salve Capoeira!!!
I have most respect for you because you preserve the spiritual aspects of
Capoeira. I have done Regional and its like the Ginga is less of a dance
that connects you with the music and your ancestry.
bira did get served up… but at the same time cobra mansa got served
also.. in conclusion they both served in other.. hahahah that was a really
nice game…
Quero so agradecer
a “Struendo2” por ter botado essa video no internet. Valeu amigo, isso e
testimonio da nossa arte!
@Rafaelfev ofcourse its a fight, its a martial art. But some rules cant be
ignored, example: In angola you can´t buy a game, you must wait until they
finish Between groups you must respect, you cant hit someone of another
group if he isnt playing
